Snow Report

Skiers and snowboarders relished that dry and soft snow today with plenty of pow turns still on offer up high. Light winds continued to load up those powder pockets off-piste, while freshening up that fluffy top layer on the groomers. With cold temps on the mountain all day and snow continuing to blow in from the Main Range, perfect skiing and snowboarding conditions were running from top to bottom.

Skiing and Snowboarding

10 lifts were open with a variety of trails on offer for all levels. Experienced riders were able to tackle the wonderful selection of natural terrain on The Bluff, while intermediate shredders searched out and explored freshies at Waimea. The Cruiser area had plenty on offer for beginners where they felt at home among the gum trees on Squatters Run. First-timers got the perfect introduction to winter sports and learnt to turn on our dedicated beginners area Friday Flat.
